First time Vancouver Island and...Fantastic!

After week of advanture with bears of the Taku River in the Northern British Columbia, I have met with my wife and our best friends from Poland in Vancouver.  The next stop was the Gabriola Island and our great friends from Abu Dhabi, Peter and Evelyn, who have very nice property on the Island.  We have planned next 6 days between relaxation of their home and the Gabriola, and activities off the coast of the Vancouver Island around the Telegraph Cove.  We have used local company supporting native inhabitants of these areas Sea Wolf Adventures (http://seawolfadventures.ca).  Mike Wilie, who I was booking the rental of dedicated boat was very flexible and the only available option in the area who understood our needs.  We have spent 3 days cruzing Jonhston Strait, Blackfish Sound and waters around the Broughton Archipelago, under a watchful eye of our skipper K'odi. Using a Zodiac, allowed us to be close to the water and feel very intimate with animals. We have seen some amazing marine wildlife, including orcas, humpbacks, sea lions and seals.  One day we have witnessed a thrilling encouner of two local orca pods hunting the juvenile humpback.  While it was unbelievable to observe, we were on the way to the Thompson Sound to watch local grizzlies.  Overall, the entire experience was fantastic and we had a time of our life observing reach wildlife in the enchanting environment of local waters.  We all felt that we will be back for more in the nearest future.  I am already planning few days next year and will definitely contact Sea Wolf Adventures for the boat support.
